Evaluating the Correlation of Hemostatic and Endocrine Parameters with Child-Turcotte-Pugh Scoring in Patients with Non-Alcoholic Liver Cirrhosis

Background: Liver cirrhosis is one of the most significant causes death in many regions worldwide. This study aimed to assess correlation hemostatic and endocrine parameters with Child-Turcotte-Pugh (CTP) scoring patients non-alcoholic liver cirrhosis. Materials Methods: included 59 monitored for a gastroenterology clinic from January 2018 February 2019. The subjects were grouped according CTP scores, their adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), cortisol, dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-SO4), progesterone, growth (GH), insulin-like factor-1 (IGF-1), GH/ IGF-1 ratio, fibrinogen, D-dimer, D-dimer/fibrinogen ratio measured. Results: According scoring, 20.3% CTP-A (n=12), 35.6% CTP-B (n=21), 44.1% CTP-C (n=26). There statistically differences IGF-1, DHEA-SO4, GH/IGF-1 ratios between groups (P=0.002, P=0.043, P=0.038, respectively). Additionally, there D-dimer GH values (P=0.024, P=0.006, GH, (P<0.001, P=0.016, P=0.002, P=0.031, Conclusion: Severe complications develop due causes. it seems that using along fibrinogen level, can be beneficial showing damage these patients.
